Riley Nash is unlikely to play and Tommy Wingels is questionable for the Boston Bruins in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday at TD Garden (8 p.m. ET, NBC, CBC, TVAS).

Nash returned to practice Friday wearing a no-contact jersey, but the third-line center is expected to miss his seventh straight game because of a lacerated right ear sustained when he was hit by a shot from teammate Torey Krug on March 31. Wingels did not practice.

"I don't believe he'll play, but we'll make that decision tomorrow. He's trending well, but [playing Saturday] looks doubtful," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said of Nash, who had 41 points (15 goals, 26 assists), all NHL career highs, in 76 games.

Nash said it felt good to skate with his teammates for the first time since the injury. He needed 40 stitches to close the lacerated ear, he said his absence has had more to do with not feeling well and being careful.
