The Stanley Cup has seen everything. Its been almost everywhere, too. Thats part of the charm of the NHLs version of the prized Holy Grail. If youre ever lucky enough to hoist it, it means you get to spend at least one full day with it, doing almost anything you and Lord Stanleys silver chalice can imagine.

Josh Archibald, who joined the Coyotes last week in a trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins, picked a pretty special way to celebrate his solo day with the Cup this past August.

After arranging for a private jet to fly him and the trophy to the family lake house in Minnesota, he and his wife, Bailey, chose to have their baby boy, Brecken, baptized in the bowl of the Stanley Cup.

It was a pretty special day, Archibald said, smiling.

The past handful of days have been special for Archibald, too, now that hes no longer a routine healthy scratch for the Penguins and is actually getting regular ice time as a member of the Coyotes, 6-2 losers at Gila River Arena on Saturday night to the visiting Colorado Avalanche.
